Initial Manual Osteopathy Appointment
Description
Manual Osteopathy sessions are designed to restore healthy movement of all body parts, and improve pain, mobility, stress, posture & athletic performance. Please note: Direct billing is available for most insurance companies; however, Canada Life, Industrial Alliance & Equitable Life DO NOT reimburse this service in Ontario. Your initial visit will include an assessment, followed by hands-on treatment. Treatment may include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitative stretching, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilization, strain-counterstrain, positional release, visceral osteopathy, cranio-sacral osteopathy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and myofascial decompression cupping. Home care exercise, stretching and hydrotherapy recommendations will be given throughout the plan of care. You may dress to your comfort level. A 45 minute initial visit is recommended if you have one major concern you wish to address.
